Taking a Screen Shot in windows :

step 1:

First open the window we want to take screen shot,that window must be appeared front in computer windows.

step 2:

press prtscr button which is place at the top of keyboard with function key(f1,f2,f3...) or beside of Numlock button.

step 3:

Then open paint 

Start Program -- type  paint in search box-- paint appeared in top then click on it.

step 4:

after open paint paste it by paste option from paint program or simply press ctrl+v.

step 5:

then click save as and select location , name and save.
